If you've spent any time at all with me lately, or if you happened to catch one of my appearances on the college campuses I visited this Fall, you will know that I'm truly passionate about helping women of all ages find their voice. It is what I'm about as an author, and something I hope to inspire in the many women I meet (and in as many ways as I can!) So for this holiday gift-giving season, I've teamed up with an amazing artist named Georgann Nugent. Georgann is a kindred spirit who has found her true voice in the artistry of silk scarf designing. Her love of creating art that speaks to you, but also wraps you up with color and joy, captured me and compelled me to seek ways that the two of us could fuse our passions.

 

 

So out of an authentic desire to connect our hearts, we came up with the Seed of Hope Scarf collection. On December 11, 2008 , those of you who are blessed to be spending time in Sarasota, Florida will have a chance to see these gorgeous scarves and learn how they can be a beautiful part of inspiring women of all ages in your life! By channeling the messages of my novel, and the idea of nonnegotiable living, the Seed of Hope Scarf can serve as a special reminder to someone you love of all the hopes you keep in your heart for their future. What could be more precious than knowing that someone has hope for you?

 

 

So it is with great excitement that I post this holiday note, and I look forward to connecting with beautiful women in my hometown in a few weeks! But for the rest of you, I am sending warm thoughts and hope-filled wishes that this holiday time will remind you of how blessed we all really are!
